It's been a while since I uploaded a new grief short. It's not for lack of trying, though. I hope this one makes up for the long wait.

Summary

Watching from the enter of the flames as everything falls to ash around you is never easy, I can attest to that. So why am I doing it? 

Follow an unnamed narrator as he settles back into his daily life despite the flames around him after he loses a friend.
